Alliance provides a streamlined, single-entry reporting environment for officers with the specific goal of dramatically reducing the time spent creating reports and increasing time on the job. A list of reports for which each officer is responsible is generated automatically from the Case Reporting system. A narrative form offers text editing capabilities with spell checking and importing tools to incorporate text entered through other programs. Multiple reports are then generated from the single-entry forms and can be passed to Records and/or Supervisors for verification and review. Officers are notified automatically if reports are past due.

MO for Incidents and Persons

Alliance system provides the user with the ability to generate MO information for each person connected with an incident, as well as for the incident itself. Once entered, MO information becomes a valuable tool for officers and investigators alike. MO searches do not require shuffling through masses of reports; investigators can use a MO search tool to isolate matching persons or similar case profiles.

Internal e-mail

E-mail is a central tool of the Alliance system. Not only does it provide an important medium of transferring messages between different members of the security department, but it also connects to the internal components of the Alliance system. As officers log into the system, they are automatically notified that certain reports are coming due. Their supervisor is notified as well. If a report is not filed according to its case schedule, both parties are notified again.

All internal reports are automatically routed to the appropriate parties, including the Supervisors log, shift log, or RMS reporting. Alliance’s E-mail leads the paperless reports trail as well as initiates timely reminders of required tasks.
